In less than 45 minutes the billionaire investor, Warren Buffet, went broke at a charity poker tournament.
Buffet, 76, is an avid Bridge player and got confused according to his own words. ''It's different than bridge; I was confused. I thought the low score won.''
The poker tournament had 50 amateur, celebrity and professional players registered, who played against each other in the Texas Hold’em version of the popular game.
The charity was organized to help the Nebraska Make-a-Wish program and some of the attendants included personalities such Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and professional poker players David Williams, Evelyn Ng and Michael Mizrachi.
The big prize was a $3,500 watch featured in the new James Bond movie, “Casino Royale” and was won by an amateur player from Omaha.
