The new system will be designed so that clients can play poker through a cable or wireless device in an Internet save server operated from inside a casino. A poker player will be able to play Texas Hold’em “Pier to Pier” of the World Series of Poker in different places within the casino, without having to sit at the poker table, he can do it even from the pool.

The system will be offered with a platform of the hardware with cable or wireless, by means of a portable mobile device or a fixed terminal. This helps to maximize the gambling space.

Harrah’s has extended the WSOP license to PGIC in a limited way and for the period of 6 years. “We are happy of being again associated to PGIC to impulse the biggest poker brand in a world level, the WSOP”, Ken Weil, Gambling Vice President Senior for Harrah’s, said. The president and CEO of PGIC said: “We are happy about the extension of our agreement with Harrah’s. With the popular levels of TV audience of the WSOP events and the early interest of the clients in the Pier to Pier version, we are expecting another successful product launching”.

“We believe this system has a potential market of over 5,000 legal gambling rooms”, and he added: “We expect to present the system to GLI during the last trimester of 2006 and to be able to fulfill the other processes of regulatory approbation norms. We want this system to be one of the products to exhibit during the next G2E event in Las Vegas”.
