The marathon Poker Den III finished for a total of 21 players who sat for 36 non-stop hours of poker. The players of the opening table were Roland de Wolfe, Neil Channing, David Williams, Sammy “Any Two” George, Ilios Kamatakis, Chris Parker, Robert Williamson III and Jennifer Tilly. Later, German young promise Bodo Sbrzesny and Phil Laak joined the table.
Sbrzesny, who took home 22,850 dollars, made a bluff that encouraged other players to give 200 dollars to all the players that won the jackpot with the same hand. Besides, organizers gave 1,000 per hour to the player that had a certain hand (during several rounds, Neil Channing obtained all the especial prizes).
The winner of the event was Robert Williamson III, with 63,675 dollars, followed by Andrew Feldman with 63,350 dollars. The big loser of the night was Sammy George, who managed to be on top with 50,000 dollars and finally lost with losses of 78,425 dollars.
“The Poker Den just keeps getting better and better. If you thought season one and two were entertaining you ain’t seen nothing yet! Whilst the old guard stood firm at the poker den, new stars were born,” Eddie Hearn, Head of Online Gaming commented.
