The movie “Poker” is a Mad Love Film Factory production and is directed by Juan Sebastián Valencia, and produced by Natalia Agudelo. Almost the totality of the filming will take place in Bogota, and will begin on the 12th of May and end on the 18th of June.

The main characters of the movie are Rafael Novoa, Juan Sebastián Aragón, Luis Fernando Hoyos, Cristina Campuzano and Alejandra Borrero. The story is about 5 characters that meet for the first time at a poker table, each of them betting a large amount of money, all of them for different reasons and each of them hiding the reasons as to why they have decided to turn to gambling as a way of solving an aspect of their lives. Their lives will end up interconnected, even if they try to avoid it.

Director Juan Sebastián Valencia is known for having made the feature film “Martinis al Atardecer” and the short films “TangoLatinoamericano” and “4’lementos”.

Jorge Mario Vera will be the director of photography of this movie. The general treatment of the photographies will be modern, well illuminated and with an almost publicitary vision, regarding aesthetic. Efe-X and the Javerianlo Audiovisual Centre will be in charge of all the processes related to post production. The digital effects will be made by Zero Fractal, and the movie will have the support of Sony Broadcast.
